I can't imagine anyone using any images that aren't either 100% original or lifted from the program. However, if you are going to use an image you don't have rights to, DON'T!
All images should be compressed. That means NO .bmp format. Stick with gif and jpg. Otherwise it just takes up more space than it's worth.
