Main Install
This must be installed prior to installing the patches/updates. See the installation instructions.
Recent Releases
Just copy into your Darwinbots folder (wherever you installed it, generally c:\Program File\DarwinbotsII\)
Unzip the zip file there and say yes to all overwrites.
Please note that higher versions might not necessarily be more stable and bug-free than lower versions. Nor may they necessarily be "where everything's headed". At the moment we are transfering the code into C++ and then will be heading towards a new version 3.0
2.37.6
- 2.37.6 is a very, very stable release. New users are encouraged to start with this version.
- NOTE: Sysvars2.21.txt may not be included in Version 2.37.6 It is available here as text or as a download. Place it in your "DarwinBotsII" folder.
2.42.3
- 2.42.3 is also a very stable release, but there are know problems with viruses. New users are encouraged to download this release alongside 2.37.6 as there are still some differences between the two versions. Subsequent versions of 2.4 will narrow this gap but for right now, users are encouraged to try both.
- NOTE: Most, but not all bots programmed for 2.37.6 work correctly in 2.42.3. In particular, there are known issues with viruses in 2.42.3 as well as a few remaining issues with ties.
