Main Install
This must be installed prior to installing the patches/updates. See the installation instructions.
Recent Releases
Just copy into your Darwinbots folder (wherever you installed it, generally c:\Program File\DarwinbotsII\)
Unzip the zip file there and say yes to all overwrites.
Please note that higher versions might not necessarily be more stable and bug-free than lower versions. Nor may they necessarily be "where everything's headed". At the moment we are transfering the code into C++ and then will be heading towards a new version 3.0
2.37.6
- 2.37.6 is a very, very stable release. New users are encouraged to start with this version.
- NOTE: Sysvars2.21.txt may not be included in Version 2.37.6 It is available here as text or as a download. Place it in your "DarwinBotsII" folder.
2.42.3a
- 2.42.3a is also a very stable release with some interesting new capabilities, but there are still a few known problems, particularily with viruses. New users are encouraged to download and run this release alongside 2.37.6 until the remaining differences and incompatabilities between the two versions are completely eliminated. Subsequent versions of 2.4 will continue to narrow this gap but for right now, users should try both.
